 What everyone is seeking

And may not know exists
I’m blessed to be wrapped up in
And gazed upon in bliss

Every person needs it
And we crave it to survive
To play the queens gambit
And take a chance to thrive

See finding it is rare
And feeling it intense
Wrapped in the utmost care
To open the rusty fence

Many people guard their hearts
And never get to feel
Or search for soul-warming sparks
To from the inside heal

Real deep love
So rare so sought
People send prayers above
And dream of it in thought

There is desperation for this feeling
That everybody needs
Inside people are reeling
And distracted by greed

The depth of true loving connection
Is needed to feel full
Otherwise love becomes obsession
And all we have seems dull

So we seek to fill up with material things
We can’t feel what we’re missing
We don’t hear our hearts sing
But deep down we yearn to be held, to be kissing

I am so grateful
For the love that I have

I let love all the way in
It transforms me

Trusting and spacious
It transforms us
