Sitting Under the Shade of Full Blown Full Grown Love 2014

A journey to be settled home.
A mountain to give peace,
earth holds my feet
A weekend to give friendship strength
A distance to come home again.
And I'm home
more in love than ever
with life and friends and loss.

Learning to love loss and hardship
Like learning to love even the child
who doesn't smile.
It's harder to do, to love
what seems against you or
unreadable
but to decode loss or death
or mystery is worth effort
and frustration
valuable is weighed on a personal
subjective scale.

Leave a legacy clearly
define your beliefs by
modeling your behavior
by telling stories and
planting seeds
nurturing seedlings
reading to stems and buds
sitting under the shade
of full blown full grown love.
perhaps, seemingly the hardest,
sit with the trees as they die
and make their stumpy grave
with your love and appropriate attention.

Death and loss, socially seen as
Tragic.
Reclaim them, redefine to see
them as space revealers and
opportunity makers
even when its harder to breath
know one death
makes room for one seed
