Limitless

The churning of soil
turning up to recycle
the next phase
is a mixture
of the past
and intention
with the present
and connections
with lessons learned
and reflections
with future projections

but from the same components
composed, not alone yet
and never can be
because all who surround me
will always be within me
in what they have taught me
and in that way I am free
and in that way I am free

to move about the layers
earth with nutrition
and sun rays for warming
ecosystem of microbes
who happily decompose
and feed the plant
who grows
and I grow
and I grow

the posture I take on
stronger and longer
and the old one not gone
just re-imagined
the death of the past
is not the end of the cycle
the churning is eternal
that's the miracle
and that is how
to move forward
without staring back
just gazing on occasions
to take in the grace
in the new feeling phase
which is just an evolution
of what was born with my seed
and then cared for
so thank you
to those who loved  enough
to contribute
to develop me
and stay by my side
to love and to teach me
whether implicit or explicitly

I heard what you said
but thanks for repeating
and repeating
and again
showing you loved me
and what was important to you
has become important to me
thanks for your examples
many of which I rejected
outrightly so
and eventually came back around
to feel the meaning
on my own solid ground
on my own solid ground

because when I was flying
I could not be bound
and you let me soar often
encouraged it, too
I soared past potential
and discovered limits were perceived
and perception is flexible
so thanks of understanding
and for seeing my greatness
when I felt small
or undeserving of your graciousness
because that magnification
of what I could be
has exponentially evolved me
and shrunk my ego
who tried to separate me
from those who deserve to receive
and from those who should be true
and truly happy
which is not dependent
on what materials are owned
contentment is safer
because it comes from within
and that lesson, too
is paramount and
I needed to hear it
a thousand times
so thanks again
for repeating, thanks again

my ears were once blind
and now they can see
from your heart to my mind
and now I can see you
for your possibilities too
whether you are my lover,
a child, or brand new
I can understand
how you feel
because I feel for you
I have opened all those channels
with practice and great teachings
and repetitious approaches
with new understandings
and those who helped mold me
and that I was born with
have dug out my greatness
which is my dharma
my dharma that compels me
to teach any being
and that has taught me
to love myself deeply
because the love I develop
for those who are not me
is greater than I knew
that any love could be
and the mirror it is
has reflected back to me
my own need for loving
from the depths of my being

And the future is unfolding
and I am not resisting
and I am finally trusting
the process of living
and the gratitude is so immense
that sometimes I weep
and I never had permission to cry
from myself until now
that the release is opening up
more space to love
and what I am learning is that
love is limitless


once I was told
the heart's prayer is
stronger than 1000 earth suns
and that is strong enough to
provide for everyone
that I have ever known
and possibly will know
and to follow my heart and
to chant it's prayer aloud
is to grow that potential
beyond earth
and who knows
what outside of us will hear me
and open up too
or already be open
and receiving the news
that
here on this planet
the love is so great
that futures are not scary
just possibility and phasing
phasing into the flow of evolutions
that the universe has known
and we are just
beginning to comprehend
(but the universe is experienced
and from it
we can learn)


and back to this planet
the sphere on which I am found
I am moving forward
as it turns around
and we walk in time
and dance between us
and the stars
who give us bright messages
which can be felt
if I just pay attention
and if you decide to too
we can all be awakened
gently and firmly
to surrender to the beauty
of what's in front of us

phases that might
seem outrightly scary
like dying
which is the greatest space maker
and equalizer
and those who have passed
always stay with us
in what we have learned
and their literal spirit exists
in infinite time and
love that persists

just as we are made of stardust
and dinosaur pee
we are made of them
and our future will be made
of you and me
and we can surrender
and surrender is crucial
but all in its right time
so follow the intuition
of what to do and when
and do it with love
and gratitude
which makes everything sweeter
its healthier than honey
